HYDROCAL SENSOR CALIBRATION UTILITY (HS0067)

The HydroCal Sensor Calibration Utility is a simple to use software package, designed to make sensor calibration as simple and failsafe as possible. The package has been designed for use both by experienced Hydronix technicians and novices alike.

Using our known default calibrations it is now possible to accurately calibrate the sensors using a single point calibration technique.

Particularly useful for applications where it is difficult to obtain two accurate calibration points (2%-3% apart) in a single day or visit. The utility now enables an engineer to install the equipment and with a single site visit be confident that the equipment will perform accurately.

The benefits of HydroCal are:-

• A reliable one point calibration is now available.
  
• Increased accuracy for calibrations where the application has a very narrow working moisture range.
  
• Up to 20 points can be entered, these are intelligently verified and either validated or interpreted by the software to give a simple line of best fit, linear output.
  
• Automatically checks the calibration gradient and reports possible errors.
  
• Provides a 'Notes' field for recording calibration maintenance.
  
• You build a database of calibrations that can be selected from a drop-down menu and sent to multiple sensors.
  
• A 'Search Button' locates all sensors on the network, these are then selectable from a drop-down menu.
  
• Multi-language help file.
  
• Remote averaging function (new to version 1.2).

HS0067 version 1.2 was released on 27th August 2004, this latest version provides additional functionality by allowing use of the remote averaging function within the sensor, particularly useful during calibration. The software also has improved calibration error checking and enables the maximum of 16 sensors to be connected at once. A minor bug fix to correct for international numeric formatting using the comma is also incorporated.

HydroCal is designed for use on PC-Compatible machines running Microsoft Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP.
