MOISTURE MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL IS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR IN MAINTAINING QUALITY AND THROUGHPUT WHEN PRODUCING CLAY BRICKS.

Traditionally the moisture content has been controlled manually. For greater accuracy and automation the Hydro-Mix VI sensor can very effectively be utilised to help control the moisture addition to the clay mixers.

By positioning 3 Hydro-Mix sensors in the following in the places shown in the diagram the moisture content of the

material may be adjusted on the fly by the control equipment to ensure optimum output and consistency.

  • At the output of the 1st mixer
  • Halfway along the 2nd mixer
  • At the output of the 2nd mixer
