Calibration Utility - Multi-Point to 2 Point Conversion This spreadsheet enables 2 point calibration data to be derived from a more accurate multi-point calibration technique. This facilitates a very accurate and reliable calibration line to be entered in to systems that will only allow 2 points to be entered such as the Hydronix Hydro-View or any other 3rd party control system that uses a 2 point calibration technique.
The sensor must be configured to output an unscaled value apart from when connected to a Hydro-View in which case the ‘Compatibility’ output option must be selected. When using the sensor to directly output a moisture value the Hydro-Com software should be used for calibration. The spreadsheet may be configured to different system analogue spans using raw PLC counts, for example -32768 to +32768 for 0 to 20mA input. A well calibrated Hydronix sensor should not require further calibration adjustment although we recommend periodic moisture sample tests to be conducted as part of the plant quality control procedure.
